The Trans-Eurasia Information Network (TEIN) provides a large-scale research and education network for Asia-Pacific. With a direct link to Europe's GÉANT network, it creates a gateway for global research collaboration for over 85 million scientists, academics and students.

This movie highlights the benefits the network brings to the population at large by driving innovative applications with high societal impact, such as tele-medicine, e-learning etc. The video was produced during the lifespan of the predecessor project, TEIN2. TEIN3 builds on its achievements and keeps facilitating and supporting applications like those featured in this video.
